You will contribute to progress reviews, behaviour management strategies, and communication support. Your role as an SEN TA will be central in ensuring pupils feel safe, valued, and empowered. A strong SEN TA applicant will be patient, resilient, and proactive, demonstrating the ability to build positive relationships and encourage independence in learners.

You will work closely with class teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, and occasionally cover whole-class lessons. Class cover may include other year groups, depending on the needs of the school.

You should be somebody who can work well alone but when needed be able to integrate well into a team.
