You will be based at our Materials Recovery Facility in Mansfield, where we process recyclable materials collected from Nottinghamshire households. It has the capacity to sort 85,000 tonnes of recyclable waste each year and contributes significantly towards achieving the county's ambitious recycling targets.

You will play a pivotal role as a senior leader within the stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communications team, with a primary focus on communications.

You will collaborate closely with internal senior leadership, interdisciplinary teams, project sponsors, delivery teams, and external collaborators.

You will work across two teams: based in the national Music team, you will also work very closely with colleagues in the advocacy and communication team, drawing on expertise from colleagues who lead on different comms specialisms including media, social media, public affairs and internal comms.

You will promote the function’s proposition, processes and performance, ensuring they are valued and understood, both internal and externally.

You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, and you’ll be an effective team player, demonstrating a positive ‘can do’ attitude and co-operative interaction with team members.

You will work as a Project Manager and will take responsibility for leading projects from early feasibility through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
