You will be assisting individuals with personal hygiene, grooming and dressing, empowering them to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. A kind understanding and flexible approach to your work is needed as you will also provide emotional support and encouragement to help these individuals build their confidence and self –esteem.

You will have the opportunity to support individuals with the wide range of activities that they enjoy, including going to discos, swimming and going to the cinema. As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions.

You will be accountable for complex decision making in relation to caseloads ensuring professional judgement, service user involvement, needs led assessment, critical reflection, and analysis to inform this.

You will identify and assess levels of risk and need (within statutory frameworks) in often complex situations.

You will be supported to work in partnership with families, using creative tools to ensure the "voice of the child" is at the centre of everything you do. Key Responsibilities:

You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs. Youll do more than provide care youll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve their own individual outcomes.

You will be based at The Academy in Warrington, a service made up of 22 self-contained flats. This role is about more than tasks. It is about building strong, respectful relationships and helping people feel safe, valued and in control of their own lives. Shifts run between 8am and 10pm, including a mix of early, late and alternate weekend working.

You will work within the legislation of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act to deliver personalised assessments, support planning and reviews to achieve holistic outcomes. We are looking for people with a can-do attitude and in return, as a valued member you will be fully supported with your caseload.

You will be required to fully register with Remedy for all locum positions.
