You will be providing support across a wide variety of approximately 200 commercial buildings within the Councils Property Stock, including planning, procurement and delivery of high quality reactive and planned maintenance projects.

You will have minimum 3+years’ building surveying experience.

You will identify, source, and build strong working relationships with reliable suppliers, creating and maintaining a robust database of preferred vendors while ensuring key relationships are effectively managed.

You will also be expected to undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.

You will also undertake installations of fluid power systems, including Pipework, hydraulic systems, hydraulic power units, and cylinders, adhering to industry standards and customer specifications.

You must ensure strict adherence to all relevant Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) procedures, as well as health and safety requirements, to maintain a secure working environment at all times.

You must have good team organisational skills and communication skills when working in high pressure environments. In order to demonstrate your knowledge we would require candidates to have experience working in a customer service environment. We would particularly encourage candidates with experience in a Facilities Management environment to apply.
