You will be working in an extremely supportive office as part of a team of dedicated system partitioning specialists.

You will work on a variety of nationwide projects up to £8m in value. Working in this fast-paced environment, the Design Technician will become involved in core projects in workplace fitout.

You will bring strong experience in design development, drawing packages, FF&E, and coordination while working collaboratively with directors while mentoring junior team members. The studio offers a supportive, design-led culture and a strong benefits package including hybrid working and private healthcare and the chance to work on globally recognised interiors.

You will take a senior role within the studio, leading projects from initial concept through to completion. Projects range from high-end private residences and pied-à-terres to immersive, characterful hospitality and commercial environments. The studio does not adhere to a fixed house style; instead, each project is driven by the client’s personality, lifestyle, and the spirit of the building.

You should be educated to a relevant degree or diploma level with 6+ years’ post graduate experience. Applicable knowledge of creative design methodologies and processes necessary.

You will be able to show expert concept layout skills as well as creativity and the ability to adhere to SMC brand ideals.
