You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.

You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.

You will be provided you with a van, tool kit and your own scheduler to ensure your diary is both efficient and consistent. Duties & Responsibilities - Deliver, install and validate new equipment. - Carry out scheduled maintenance, site surveys and advise the customer of any additional costs incurred.

You will be a competent mechanical and / or electrical engineer with at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance or field service engineer role.

You will have excellent mechanical and /or electrical fault find and repair skills and as a minimum you will be educated to NVQ Level 3 standard either mechanical or electrical.

You will deliver consultative, solution-led sales by combining technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness. The Sales Engineer / Field Sales Account Manager role is field-based and requires regular travel to customer sites.

You will collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams to identify opportunities, support bids, and drive sustainable account growth.
