You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift.

You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.

You will be required to have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience of staff training is desirable as is experience of supporting accreditation to the ISO 15189 standards. You must be able to travel effectively and within a reasonable timescale to meet service requirements, this could include being responsive to last minute unplanned visits to non-local appointments, as such access to your own transport is essential.
