You will be a mechanically biased engineer with experience working in manufacturing / factory environments, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline. You will be part of a specialist team providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Ground Support Equipment (GSE), developing engineering solutions to ensure equipment is maintained, refurbished and returned to service in line with defined technical and quality standards.

You will provide expert-level maintenance and fault diagnosis for Ground Support Equipment (GSE), performing complex testing and component-level repairs within a heavy engineering environment to ensure reliability - Proficiency in using Approved Source Information (ASI) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data to guide repairs.

You will carry out pre-MOT and roadworthiness inspections, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults, and ensure all vehicles meet strict compliance standards.

You will become a key member of the workshop team, with the opportunity to support and train apprentices as you progress.

You will need to be confident both Electrically and Mechanically as you will be responding to breakdowns swiftly, keeping down time to a minimum, while carrying out pro-active planned maintenance of the automated storage retrieval system, matrix sorters, conveyors, packaging machinery, end of line machinery and the facilities.

You will be part of a big multi-disciplined maintenance team on a continental shift rota. They will offer you a great package starting at £52,889 + shift cover premiums and OT.
