You must have substantial experience of working in a Health, Safety and Environment role within a medium to large organisation and have a record of outstanding achievement.

You will be able to work at a strategic as well as operational level and must have up to date knowledge and skills in Health & Safety legislation, training, new developments, risk assessment and control.

You must demonstrate a truly caring, compassionate and empathic approach, and a solution focused and ‘can-do’ attitude.

You will have person-centred values; actively listen to the people we support and ensure their voice is heard.

You must have a full clean driving licence and access to a car.

You will also develop and improve services by identifying issues and risks to service delivery or the safeguarding of adults, children, young people, and their families, ensuring that the Team Manager is aware of high-risk issues.

You must be able to react to immediate problems of a highly complex nature with associated risk factors and deliver immediate solutions, sometimes under extreme pressure.

You should have a good understanding of GDPR and the ability to deliver health promotion and health surveillance services effectively.

You should be approachable, with strong interpersonal skills, and capable of building positive working relationships. A manual UK driving licence is essential for this role.
