You will join a leading Real Estate team advising on investment and development projects across sectors such as retail, industrial, tels, and offices.

You will support affordable housing deals, handle your own caseload, collaborate onplex projects with other specialist teams, and help maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development.

You will need to be of personable nature and a good communicator. Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards. Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or as part of a team.

You will be based in their regional office of Exeter where there will be a small team working on a range of projects to include sports & Leisure, residential, education and retirement living.

You will be ambitious with great design abilities and would lead and grow the team, support business development and work winning/bidding within the local area.

You will be supporting the Senior Software Engineer, where your experience with electronics will also be called upon.

You will be working on a range of technologies including low level drivers to hardware, GUI interfaces, Communications protocols for wireless and CAN and UART interfaces.

You will also work on improving the design and maintenance of the existing product range, and any modifications as may become necessary. Design for manufacture experience is vital to your success in this fabulous Design Engineer’s position.

You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector and must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 OR have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working in carpentry. Have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.

You will need to become proficient with Revit (if you are not already), and you will be happy to learn the ropes with Reinforced Concrete Detailing.

You will over time work on a wide range of projects in sectors such as, industrial, housing (from individual properties to large developments), marine, drainage, schools and leisure.
