You will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing workflow, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality accountancy services.

You will play a leadership role in the office, supporting the development of junior team members through technical guidance and mentoring.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all accounting deadlines and billing targets are met.

You will also be assessing trees and woodlands and providing written technical reports to clients for a range of purposes e.g. for planning applications, and silvicultural and landscape management.

You will be based in the office in East Cheshire, and will carry out site visits which will include occasional overnight stays away.

You will be required to work at the Macclesfield site, however, my client have sites in Alsager, Knutsford and Crewe so having access to your own transport will be beneficial to sometimes get extra shifts. With this being an ad hoc contract, there are no set shift patterns each week so flexibility and being able to work short notice shifts are essential to the role.
