You will be responsible for creating the category strategy and aligning with the group approach.

You will represent procurement at a UK and European level within your categories to build partnerships, introduce new Suppliers and implement new ways of working.

You will join a small - mid size clinical trial supply business who are growing day by day, securing new deals and strengthening relationships. That means a lot of growth, starting with the procurement team. They are seeking a confident director of procurement coming with strong experience of sourcing comparators.

You will need proven experience with: • Public sector procurement and PCR 2015 / PA23 • Managing competitive tendering processes • Housing sector procurement • Developing procurement strategies and delivering value for money • Advising stakeholders on compliance, commercial risk and contract approach

You will bring a commercially astute approach to procurement, ensuring that every decision supports value for money, innovation, and long-term efficiency across the Group. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and collaborative working, you will help to set the overall direction of procurement strategy in this space—delivering both immediate savings and sustainable benefits.
