You will need experience in a local authority within capital accounting, planning and budget monitoring. The capital programme is vast and, therefore, someone with experience in a larger council environment may suit best.

You will work closely with a deputy Chief Executive and Transition Director to ensure the smooth delivery of this merger. This is a business crucial role, and the main duties will involve – - Support the handover from external transformation consultants to internal managers - Put in place processes for monitoring the progress of the merger

You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful delivery of new housing supply on council-owned land. Working closely with internal colleagues, external partners, developers and government bodies, you will ensure new homes are well-designed, energy efficient, financially viable, and aligned with the council’s strategic objectives.
