You will also be responsible for writing rotas, ensuring that staff are deployed adequately to provide the support that is needed.

You will be involved in the everyday routines of the patients, ensuring the psychological needs of each individual are met.

You must also be committed to under-taking all pre-employment training and have a desire to further your career by gaining further qualifications.

You will lead a stable and motivated team to deliver high and consistent standards of care and support for our young people, ensuring they are kept safe, that you advocate strongly for them and their voice shines through everything we do.

You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the statutory and regulatory environment for registered Children’s Homes.

You will be supported in these roles through mentoring and a fully-funded learning programme, culminating in a qualification from the Chartered Management Institute.

You will have obtained a minimum 2.2 undergraduate degree by summer 2026

You must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the 2-year programme.

You will work closely with the ward manager to co‐ordinate staff training and ward coverage utilising e‐rostering, undertake appraisals and be responsible for managing the ward in the absence of the ward manager.
