IT Help Desk jobs in Ringwood

You will be taking calls from customers and helping to resolve their IT issues; you will be the first point of contact for our client’s customers.

You will be resolving incidents using your own initiative, knowledge and problem-solving skills, using remote support tools to remotely solve and fix issues, keeping customers up to date throughout the incident life cycle.

You will act as both a senior engineer and a point of leadership—guiding the team, managing incoming workload, and ensuring service KPIs and processes are consistently met. This is a hands-on position suited to a confident 2nd line engineer who enjoys problem-solving, supporting colleagues, and maintaining clear communication with customers, especially during periods of high demand.

You will:Diagnose and resolve 2nd line issues via remote supportWork with clients to fully understand and recreate problemsEscalate complex issues to 3rd line colleagues when neededMonitor open tickets and drive them through to resolutionSupport a wide variety of clients, infrastructures, and technologiesOccasionally visit customer sites (no daily travel!

You will have good IT skills, at least 3 years stable sales experience – telesales or field sales – the job is a mix of both.

You must also be a car driver who is comfortable networking out in the business community – often out of hours!

You must love (and I mean LOVE) dealing with people, be able to spot potential in others.

You will need to be a strong communicator with a calm and professional manner and the ability to put the customer at the centre of all you do. Ideally you will have experience working in a similar scheduling, service coordinator, help desk position or have worked across an end to end process with multiple customer touch points.

You will be anchored to the Ringwood office, working closely with a highly capable regional team while supporting major residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the UK. Projects are client-led and national in nature, offering variety and technical challenge while maintaining a sensible hybrid working balance.
