You will shape and execute category strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure our procurement activities support organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and sustainability commitments.

You will be responsible for the design delivery of substation plant, equipment, and protection systems across a whole range of electrical infrastructures as well as new connection projects in both the distribution and transmission sectors.

You will achieve this ensuring the detailed preparation and delivery of functional specifications, equipment schedules and associated scheme drawings.

You will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project. Ideally you will be able to integrate all of the various engineering disciplines, developing an understanding across the project and working closely across the Asset Management and wider Altrad Babcock business.

You will have the following qualifications & experience: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related role with regular involvement in contract management – either pre- or post-contract stages. This experience could be gained from project management, technical or commercial roles.

You will be responsible for managing revenue and entitlement on an open book basis, managing the estimating of the construction phase and long-lead procurement orders whilst driving delivery strategy.

You will enjoy the challenges of delivering project target EBIT, addressing unexpected events, and managing within budgets.
