You will be required to provide an efficient and cost-effective service to young people, ensuring that their needs are assessed. Making sure every young person will have a professional and comprehensive Pathway Plan and risk assessment completed.

You must hold a driving licence and have use of a car.

You will have oversight regarding performance management and compliance and ensure guidelines are adhered to re NMS, Regulations and Safeguarding.

You will need to provide formal, professional supervision to staff, ensuring that appraisals are undertaken, identify skills gaps or training needs.

You will provide expert legal advice and support, dealing with commercial and construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.

You will be able to demonstrate the relevant skills and experience to be able to work independently, working on a caseload of matters, either in support of a wider initiative or as standalone cases.

You will be required to provide an efficient and cost-effective service to children, young people and their families, ensuring that the needs of the children and their parents/carers are professionally assessed.

You will need to prepare and submit written reports as and when required, including statements and care plans for care proceedings in the Family Proceedings, County and High Courts.

You will need to have two years' experience of working within an adoption service and have a working knowledge of adoption regulations.

You must have the ability to build relationships, have worked directly with children, especially those where permanency was the plan.

You will need strong communication skills and be able to organise yourself and others.
