You will design, build, and deploy production‑grade models using energy‑market data, asset telemetry, weather data, settlement data, and commercial datasets. This role is central to the evolution of our pricing, risk, trading, and optimisation engines.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams and work with a high degree of autonomy.

You will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, lead and coordinate topic‑specific input to Environmental Impact Assessments and related deliverables, work closely with clients, develop new areas of business and mentor others in the team.

You will help set the direction for AI and data science across the business, driving the adoption of modern AI development practices and scalable, cloud‑native architectures at enterprise scale.

You will provide technical and thought leadership, engaging with C‑level and senior stakeholders to define architectural principles and strategic direction.

You will work on real production problems rather than research-only work, owning models from first iteration through to live deployment.

You will collaborate closely with other data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps, with the freedom to shape how GenAI and ML are used across the platform.
