You will be responsible for the mechanical, robotics, and product development, working primarily with the other 3 mechanical engineers, and also closely with our capable electrical and software engineering teams.

You will play a pivotal role in transforming legal service delivery, embedding legal technology, automation, and AI innovation across the firm’s commercial practice.

You will work closely with colleagues and clients, delivering high-quality advice while developing expertise across the full spectrum of real estate transactions.

You will be supported in your ongoing professional development though training and mentoring

You will lead a close-knit team of engineers ensuring that calibration, repair, maintenance and safety testing activities are executed in a manner which maximises availability of equipment in our manufacturing production halls, engineering labs and at external customer sites.

You will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will involve developing and maintaining applications, implementing new features, and ensuring the highest level of performance and user experience.

You will also have the opportunity to learn from peers and senior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

You will have the drive and commitment to work through difficult problems to find the right engineering solutions.

You will study at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh for completion of a BEng (Hons) in Engineering: Design & Manufacture (Mechanical) through a mixture of work-based learning, distance learning and day release at university.

You will have the drive and commitment to work through difficult problems to find the right engineering solutions.

You will study for completion of a BSc (Hons) in Software Development for Business through a mixture of work based learning and day release at University.

You will gain the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer as part of the way to gaining Chartered Engineer status.
