You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working.

You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

You will deliver inspiring and interactive lessons in Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish or German) across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll have the autonomy to bring your subject to life, supported by excellent resources and a collaborative department that shares best practice.

You will teach on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, bringing expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and related subject areas.

You must hold a good first degree and a Master’s in a relevant subject and have experience of teaching in higher education (or equivalent).

You will be a registered member of RCSLT and HCPCHold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent. Completed SALT NPQ Status

You will support children and young people with complex communication needs, including autism, ADHD, SLCN, and associated social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

You will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing and structured environment where pupils feel secure, regulated and ready to learn.

You will also need:GCSE English and Maths (Grade C / 4 or above), or equivalent functional skillsA recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, or willingness to work towards oneWhy work for Horizon and Bushbury School?
