You will implement individual and group interventions, adjusting and refining formulations to meet patient needs.

You will also support staff development through training programmes and provide supervision to Assistant Psychologists, helping to build a strong and skilled team.

You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Runcorn. Pay rate ranging between £23.00 - £26.00 P/H per hour depending on experience. The SLT we are looking for will have previously worked with adults as a post-graduate therapist. They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter.

You will work within our trans disciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Analysts Small caseload – you will be responsible for a small number of classes with 6-7 pupils per class.

You will work closely with the class-based staff and other onsite professionals in a pupil centred model.

You will play a key role in supporting communication and language development across the school. Working as part of a passionate multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide assessments, deliver individual and group interventions, and collaborate closely with teaching staff and families to help each young person reach their full potential.

You will work alongside B5, B6 and B7 SLTs and SLT assistants as part of a large, supportive, and innovative team.

You will work closely with families, health colleagues and education staff to develop programmes that will be implemented in schools and at home.

You will deliver training for other professionals as required.

You will work collaboratively to promote safety and support young people and their family/carers through face to face work and via the CWP Trust Wide Crisis Line. The post also involves liaison with other services and external agencies to ensure effective pathways of care.

You will be expected to provide project risk management support to a widely diverse portfolio of projects at various points in the project delivery lifecycle.

You will be supported by a Band 6 Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Occupational Therapy Directorate Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists.

You will be part of an Integrated Care Community Team and hospital-based team providing therapy for patients in their own home and in an inpatient setting. This will involve working with patients to remain in their own home in community and support with rehabilitation of patients in the hospital to support discharge home.
