Language Tutor jobs in Surrey

You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE This is not a self-employed tutoring / self-employed teaching position

You will hold a Master's degree in relevant subject area (PhD desirable)

You will have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area

You will have a successful track record of teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds on HE programmes

You will have proven experience of providing individual and group study skills support in response to identified learning needs

You will be supported by a professional and experienced line manager.

You should also be able to evidence and demonstrate qualifications and expertise in your subject area, a love of your subject and a passion for teaching. To demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent learning opportunities for your learners and have experience of teaching adults in a classroom environment.

You will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our teaching, learning and assessment strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience.

You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre.
