You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, but also confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other areas within education. The College works to reduce re-offending by providing learners with opportunities to learn and develop skills.

You will be supported by a professional and experienced line manager.

You should also be able to evidence and demonstrate qualifications and expertise in your subject area, a love of your subject and a passion for teaching. To demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent learning opportunities for your learners and have experience of teaching adults in a classroom environment.

You will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with our teaching, learning and assessment strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience.

You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre.
