You will lead a large, multi-skilled engineering function of around 50 colleagues, including two Team Managers and teams made up of engineers, technicians, technical assistants, and an apprentice. Operating within a 24/7 environment, you will balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic leadership, ensuring automation and MHE systems perform safely, reliably, and efficiently.

You will be working in partnership to ensure the smooth running of the colleague shop.

You will look to consistently deliver great service by truly putting our customers at the heart of what we do, focusing on the store standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring the team are motivated to deliver the day to day delivery of the department

You will regularly liaise with stock teams, drivers and engineers to make sure equipment is available, prepared, and delivered on time, helping us keep things running smoothly and efficiently for our customers.
