You will be assisting residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.

You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with Autism and complex needs which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

You will also be responsible for writing rotas, ensuring that staff are deployed adequately to provide the support that is needed.

You will be involved in the everyday routines of the residents, ensuring the psychological needs of each individual are met.

You will need to have previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

You will provide a clinical service, with colleagues, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness.

You will be required to adhere to the principles of good medical practice as laid down by the General Medical Council.
