Learning Mentor jobs in Sandwell

You will deliver structured 1:1 and small group support that links directly to class teaching.

You will break tasks into clear steps, use visuals and now/next prompts, and rehearse routines so transitions and starts are calm.

You will pre-teach key vocabulary, model planning and answer structures, and build recall through retrieval and timed practice.

You should hold a degree in psychology or a related subject and demonstrate a calm, patient approach to working with young people. A strong interest in special educational needs and the ability to adapt to different learning styles is essential. Any experience working with children or in a support role will strengthen your application.
