You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working.

You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills as well as being able to work flexibly in relation to tasks undertaken. The main focus of this role will be to: - Support students to learn and make progress in lessons - Assist the teacher/tutor in the preparation of work

You will have the opportunity to use restorative practices to support our students in their social and emotional development, speech, language and communication difficulties and autism, children aged between 5 to 19 year old.

You will be supporting across Primary ages between 11 to 19 years old.

You will earn a salary of £25,500 - £28,000 (Base £25,500, with uncapped on-target earnings of c£28,000)

You will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team including clinicians, care and education staff.

You will have opportunities to be part of the provision development and contribute to the improvement of the Occupational Therapy service.

You will provide advice and support to guide and mentor participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. You'll manage a caseload of participants, be their trusted contact and coach, guide, motivate and help customers obtain sustainable employment.

You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks.

You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.
