You will encourage new experiences, supporting the young people to develop their own identity.

You will need to successfully complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare before you complete 24 months of Support Work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team.

You will be required to work shifts.

You will contribute to making plans to support them and assist with their implementation, attending statutory reviews as required.

You will be required to attain your Level 3 Children’s Workforce Diploma, this is fully funded. The role will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and “sleep-ins” as required and you will ideally hold a full UK driving licence.

You will work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, helping to maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for our residents. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and household tasks.

You will be required to provide references and undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check as well as a barred list check. All shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online search. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 but Exceptions Order may apply.
