You will be expected to develop towards a full Technical Superintendent position (after completing training/familiarisation period). Due to the requirements of the job, the successful candidate will be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of Glasgow. You will be required to assist in the provision of material, welding, heat treatment and NDT advice and procedures to our operational sites in the UK and overseas; to assist with the review of internal and external welding related documentation; maintain strong client working relationships and develop working relationships with site personnel.

You will also be responsible for the following: - Pre-operative testing; conducting tests prior to examination and treatment and assisting during the consent appointment process, including providing information to patients prior to their IOL or LVC procedure.

You will be working on systems and tools that improve the efficiency of the satellite fleet. Some specific areas include: - Data analysis of the telemetry from Ground and Space Assets to ensure reliable and efficient performance - Develop operational automation for mission execution, anomaly detection and resolution, space situational awareness, and performance monitoring.

You will work closely with the Estimating department through the bid to; Review tender bills, prelims, projects brief etc. to identify both risk and opportunity. Review of subcontractor and supplier enquiries. Engagement with key trades - develop relationships with supply chain.
