You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Management and Government business stakeholders across the full lifecycle, from hypothesis through to production deployment.

You will be joining our National Security business which is the largest area within our UK business.

You will be responsible for building robust, scalable ML systems that bring our foundation models for retail from prototype to production. Design and build production-grade ML infrastructure, including training pipelines, model serving, and monitoring systems. Collaborate with research engineers to translate experimental models into reliable, maintainable software.

You will invent new methods beyond pattern marching to build cretive reasoning and artistic decision-making and will build models that generalise and create across a variety of mediums. They are looking for: - Ability to invent new methods from scratch, requiring deep knowledge of ML fundamentals (math, probability, optimisation) rather than just applying existing GenAI frameworks.

You will collaborate with management to advance our data and analytics transformation, enhance productivity, and enable agile, data‑driven decisions.

You will act as a technical thought leader and strategic partner, shaping the organization's machine learning engineering practices and fostering a culture of operational excellence, reliability, and responsible AI adoption.

You will be working alongside scientists with terabytes of text, images, and other types of data and develop Gen AI based solutions to solve real-world problems. You'll design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and find new ways of optimizing risk, profitability, and customer experience.
