You will work closely with management and supervision teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities - Set, program, and operate CNC press brakes - Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints - Produce components to specification, quality standards, and required quantities

You will work with apprentices throughout their programme, visiting them in the workplace every 6-8 weeks, with remote support in between visits. You'll help apprentices apply what they learn in the training centre to real, day-to-day engineering tasks on site.

You will be required to participate in an out of hours standby rota to support the effective operation of our sites 365 days per year (meaning you will be on call circa every 1 in 4 weeks). Note that the standby rota payments & overtime opportunities can increase this earning potential by up to a further £8,000 - £10,000 per annum.

You will translate strategic requirements into clear, documented and fully implemented operational processes, ensuring all outputs meet internal standards and support scalable growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Free the Managing Director up to allow him to devote his time to running the business and delivering upon strategy and sales opportunities.

You will play a key part in driving quality, efficiency, and innovation on the shop floor.
