You will carry our tasks concerning maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, supporting resources, buildings and utility services.

You will work on mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, pneumatics, and hydraulics and electrical equipment such as sensors, valves, control gear, PDS, and safety systems.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance function (including planned, strategic (Lifecycle) and reactive), to ensure high levels of safety, plant availability, performance, and reliability within approved budgets. What are we looking for?

You will need to have experience and be confident and qualified to drive agricultural vehicles.

You will be responsible for hedge cutting and verge trimming on main roads across the region to maintain and transform outdoor spaces. Working as part of a team under the supervision of a Team Leader, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

You should also demonstrate proven experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment. Suitable candidates for the role of Maintenance Plant Fitter (Mechanical)will: - Have a recognised apprenticeship (preferably a higher-level standard) - ONC/HNC (desirable but not essential)
