Key Activities & Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of modules at undergraduate level, including lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials.

You should hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience, and ideally a PhD in a related subject, or be close to completion within a year of appointment.

You will manage the day-to-day running of the clinic, supervise clinical delivery by students and staff, and ensure high standards of patient care, assessment, and evaluation.

You will hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology (or related field) and be AHCS registered, with 2–3 years of experience in exercise prescription and behavioural support for people with long-term conditions.

You will be expected to take a lead role in all aspects of the programme of work, including: study design; ethical approval; the day-to-day running and administration of the research programme; the implementation of interventions; assisting in the collection and interpretation of data; and the production of technical reports and manuscripts for publication.

You will play a key role in strengthening LJMU’s commitment to employer engagement, graduate employability, and industry collaboration. We welcome applicants with substantial professional experience in the built environment sector and a strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and work-based learning approaches.
