You will work with the team to ensure all electrical items, spares and equipment are prepared on time, liaising with the Engineers to ensure cars are signed off electrically to the correct standard.

You will also be responsible on events for maintenance of all electrical spares and sign-off of vehicles for competition.

You will also provide guidance on all purchasing, stock control and logistics tasks to buyers/expeditors.

You will be confident leading category/commodity strategies and influencing total programme cost outcomes, with strong commercial acumen and a track record in supplier negotiation, cost leadership and contract management.

You will have excellent knowledge of electrical theory and of the operation of electronic devices, and be able to demonstrate and have practical experience in problem solving tools and techniques.

You will have a flexible approach to work and be able to work calmly under pressure.

You will work across a variety of environments, from controlled laboratory tests to field-based evaluations, requiring strong practical problem-solving skills, data acquisition expertise, and adaptability.

You will have experience in CAE techniques such as FEA (static/dynamic), MBS, NVH, and modal analysis, and familiarity with 1D analysis tools (e.g., Simulink, Matlab) and engineering hand calculations.
