You will lead and support staff, ensure high-quality outcomes for service users, and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.

You will be an experienced supervisor or manager with a strong background in housing support, social care or a similar regulated environment.

You will need to hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (minimum HNC level) and have experience working in low volume or bespoke manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles, particularly relating to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and optics handling.

You will be able to work as part of the team but also be able to manage your own work. Applicants will be able to demonstrate skills in leadership, motivation and drive. Previous experience in managing a multi-skilled team in a fast-paced warehouse environment and working knowledge of the warehousing process is essential, you would also need experience of health & safety in the workplace.
