You will be required to travel to different operational sites across the region; therefore, a full valid driving licence (no more than 6 points),a LGV licence Category C and ideally a driver DCPC is required.

You will also be required to collate data and information for evidence capturing.

You will have the following: NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics - Essential Full LGV / HGV licence ID desirable but not essential. Driver CPC is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. Experience within an HGV Technician role - desirable, not essential.

You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining the fleet of commercial, heavy goods and specialist municipal vehicles in accordance with statutory regulations and policy. The main duties of the job are to: Accurate fault diagnosis of vehicle and specialist equipment defects.
