You will have direct impact on our early pipeline and lead the scientific deliveries from our flagship genome‐scale in‐vitro perturbation screens producing high‐content imaging and functional genomics data and help us translate these into compelling drug projects.

You will join the BioAI department, part of AI and Digital Innovation in Research & Development (R&D).

You will lead the design of generative AI systems, protein co-folding architectures, and graph neural networks (GNNs) and agentic AI, that help uncover new therapeutic possibilities. Working alongside leading computational scientists, data engineers, and domain experts, you will shape the future of AI-driven discovery at Nxera — advancing our mission to make precision medicines a reality.

You will work in a deeply collaborative, interdisciplinary partnership with our Computational Biology, AI/ML, Drug Design and Clinical teams.

You will collaborate with Computational Biologists and ML Engineers to interpret in silico findings, design critical validation experiments, and integrate high‐dimensional experimental data back into the AI platform to refine our models.

You will use new in-house developed, state-of-the-art, syngeneic genetically engineered murine tumour models of homologous breast cancer to help with the development of vaccines that target mechanisms of platinum salt and PARP inhibitor resistance (see Pettitt et al Cancer Discov.
