You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

You will support the children with evening activities such as reading, arts and crafts, or watching TV, before helping them get ready for bed.

You will then keep watch overnight to ensure their needs are met and they remain safe and settled. Some children may struggle to sleep, and part of your role will be to reassure them and prepare them for the following morning.
