You will work a variety of shifts, including long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. What We're Looking For We want you to be positive, caring and have a can‐do attitude.

You must be a minimum of 18 years old and willing to work a minimum of 23 hours per week.

You must be able to commit to the standard shift pattern for this role.

You will assist and support qualified staff, carrying out assigned tasks as directed, without supervision. This will include housekeeping duties where required. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, using them to engage, persuade or negotiate with clients with complex or challenging needs to ensure they receive the most appropriate care and support.

You will be required to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Based within a core team, you will be assigned to a patient/s for the shift and therefore will work across all wards and departments within our Trust and its three hospitals, assisting in patient care under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals.

You will have excellent communication skills to establish and maintain effective communications relating to complex, sensitive and potentially stressful situations on a regular basis.

You will be dynamic in your approach to delivering person centred care, offering physical and emotional support to patients living with Dementia and supporting their family and carers.
