You will be an enthusiastic, suitably skilled and experienced health care professional to undertake the role of Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist for the Learning Disabilities Service.

You should be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.

You will help them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential, supporting their progress in both practical and academic environments. Your responsibilities will include:

You will assess up to a maximum of four to six customers per day.

You will pass on to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) who will make a decision on support for the customer,

You will assess a benefit called Employment and Support Allowance managed by DWP.

You will be allocated a clinical supervisor and can study for the Diploma in Disability Assessment Medicine accredited by the FOM

You will be joining an outstanding set-up within a well-known Community Rehabilitation Team in Reading. Please note that due to the community nature of the role, you will be required to be a car driver and owner. The hourly pay rate for this role is £25 P/H.
