operational risk manager jobs in Lichfield

You will oversee a team of 8 warehouse staff, managing all aspects of warehouse operations including cross-docking, groupage, and pallet network operations. This role is roughly 70% shop floor and 30% desk-based, allowing you to stay close to the team while also managing reporting, processes, and administration.

You will be responsible for:

You will be experienced in Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy preparation and the detailed design of drainage schemes for residential and commercial developments.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects delivering upgrades and modifications to Transmission substation protection and control systems for National Grid and other customers within the Power Transmission industry. This role will suit a Project Manager with experience in engineering or regulated environments, ideally within power transmission or a similar sector.

You will be responsible for a surveyor, a lettings manager, 2 x repairs and maintenance staff, a project support officer, a compliance officer and a team of cleaners.

You will prepare, oversee and then mobilise new contract agreements with subcontractors for the delivery of services across the portfolio.
