You will also ideally have: - Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or Avionic Technician - Experience working on large aircraft (essential) - Background within a Part 145 MRO environment - Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings and maintenance documentation - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

You will work within a multi-disciplined team, delivering air vehicle design and associated systems engineering outputs. As an Air Vehicle Design Engineer, you will: - Lead Design: Complete detailed design and customisation tasks for UAV platforms, covering structure, electrical wiring, powerplant, and vehicle systems.

You will become and expert in configuring and calibrating these devices to aid testing of the RF receiver systems. This role also has influence over future development work, driving requirements through analysis of current EW systems. As such and understanding of requirements generation and the engineering lifecycle will be valuable to the role.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the full product lifecycle - from development and testing to post-deployment support.
