Optical Dispenser jobs in Glasgow

You will be responsible for preparing patients for their eye examination and explaining what each stage of the eye test involves, completing pre-screening examinations and booking appointments for customers.

You will also be dispensing spectacles and contact lenses as well as dealing with repairs and adjustments while ensuring stock has been received by the supplier.

You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager. Responsibilities include: • Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing • Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service. • Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice.

You will assist patients in selecting the right eyewear, educating them on care and maintenance, and ensuring a seamless experience. With a strong retail background and excellent communication skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, making a meaningful impact on our customers’ lives.

You will work very closely with a Mobile Optometrist and provide a customer experience where there is a seamless journey for the patient from chair to dispense.
