PA Support Worker jobs in Reading

You will be providing high quality home care to our clients, with tasks such as: companionship, meal preparation, medication, personal care, shopping and social activities. We hire on values and not qualifications. All we ask is that you are naturally caring, friendly, compassionate and reliable.

You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in all aspects of everyday life and to assist them in enjoying a wide range of activities.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for variety of people we support.

You must hold either The Care Certificate or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 120 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.

You must be physically fit and in good health to carry out this role! General key skills required:Reliability and excellent time keeping.

You will need to be registered self-employed or be prepared to do so.

You will need a Full UK Driving Licence.

You will need to send our client a monthly invoice by email.

You will need common sense.
