You will need to possess knowledge of physical assessment skills (ideally you will have completed the Physical Assessment Module), be able to undertake a top-to-toe assessment and take a thorough, succinct history focusing on the presenting complaint.

You should be forward‐thinking and able to prioritise based on clinical need.

You will be required to be flexible, team and patient focused and be able to work independently as needed. The Therapy staff who are employed will be working primarily within the Discharge to Assess pathway - ensuring patients are safe in their home following an acute admission to hospital, but providing therapy input across the other pathways.
