Parttime Tutor jobs in Thurrock

You should be flexible, adaptable and have a considerable amount experience working within the education sector. Lessons could take place in either their home, care home or an alternative setting such as a local library. Students are likely to have difficulty responding to conventional teaching and may have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties.

You will be required to tutor Maths, Science, English Literature and English Language.

You will create and implement individualised learning plans, using a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.

You will be passionate about your subject, have previous and relevant industry experience and be keen to inspire our learners.

You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, and marking learners work and giving developmental feedback.

Provide 1:1 tutoring in Maths and English to students with special educational needs, adapting to different learning styles. Requires experience with SEN/SEMH and strong communication skills.
