You will act as the design lead for the London region, partnering closely with the specification sales team to interpret briefs, develop bespoke carpet solutions, and support projects from initial concept through to completion.

You will play a key role in ensuring the platform is engineered to a consistently high standard and can evolve to meet future needs.

You will be at the centre of a high-impact initiative to design and deliver a scalable, cloud‑ready data platform supporting Equities trading, research, analytics, and risk. As the platform grows, you will also have the opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up, helping to define engineering culture, processes, and best practices.

You will work across an AWS environment, with a strong emphasis on AWS-native tooling including Glue, S3, Step Functions, Lambda, EventBridge and other modern orchestration patterns. This role suits an engineer confident in building robust, governed, production-grade pipelines within a government-regulated environment.
