You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori.

You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

You will guide design development, ensure engineering quality and compliance, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support integration with airport operations and adjacent infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and technically robust solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be involved in project delivery, technical design, client coordination and supporting junior engineers, with scope to broaden your skillset where desired. Typical responsibilities may include: - Leading or contributing to highway and/or drainage design packages - Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings and design outputs

You will be in a team of Engineers with a supporting Senior Engineer on the jobs.

You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and looking to take on responsibility. The ideal candidate: - Minimum 5 years’ experience; - Chartered, or near Chartered with ICE - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Experience of developing SuDS strategies for major developments;
