You will be responsible for the Payroll for a large volume of clients of all sizes, running monthly and weekly payrolls.

You will be required to be 100% up to date on payroll legislation and ideally have experience of processing payrolls via multiple software systems.

You will be based at the Bideford offices, whilst supporting all the other branches across the South West. Payroll Assistant Main Duties Have a strong level of understanding processing payroll from end to end. The main duties (but not limited to) are the following: Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using appropriate software.

You will be responsible for managing complex payroll processes, ensuring full compliance with all legislative and company requirements, and acting as a subject matter expert for payroll-related queries.

You will work closely with colleagues in People Services, Finance, and across the business to ensure payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You will be assisting in the day-to-day payroll workload, working closely alongside the other members of the payroll team reporting to the Payroll Manger and the Assistant Payroll Manager.
