Working in our busy payroll office, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of more than 17,000 Barchester Healthcare employees. We are looking for a motivated individual who will help us continue to deliver an exceptional service to the business.

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Pensioner Payroll ensuring that all operational and statutory deadlines are met.

You will lead in the implementation of test plans for legislative and system changes, the production and reconciliation of RTI submissions, and coordinating the end of year reconciliation with the Financial Ledger.

You will be responsible for driving improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness and ensuring value for money is achieved, as well as leading on projects.

You will also deputise for the Payroll Manager in in local, regional, and national forums or project groups.

You will have a professional Payroll qualification or relevant demonstrable experience and proven leadership skills.
